The inevitable has finally turned into reality as the Oakland Raiders decided to officially cut ties with their former bust, errr 1st overall pick Jamarcus Russell on Thursday. Much of Russell’s pre-draft hype was a result of his phenomenal workout during which he threw a 60 yard pass from his knees and made the ball whistle through sound barriers.... (more)
We can only hope THIS Brandon Jacobs comes to play tonight in Washington. Somehow I doubt it though.
This is a huge game for the New York Giants tonight. They have an opportunity to continue on with their playoff hopes if they pull out this divisional win against the Washington Redskins.

There has been alot of things going on in D.C. with the massive snowstorm that hit there, the resignation of VP of Operations Vinny Cerrato, the hiring of new VP of Operartions Bruce Allen and talks of former Denver Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan taking over for Jim Zorn shortly after the 2009 season is over.

Well, let the perfection talk continue. Last week, I said that the Saints would go 16-0, and that the Colts wouldn’t. The Colts are trying to prove me wrong, as the Colts knocked off the Titans 27-17 today to go to 12-0, and the Saints almost let me down, but eventually picked up the 33-30 overtime win in the nation’s capital.

On Saturday, I wrote my reasons why the Eagles would lose to the Redskins (right here). Pretty much all of those things I mentioned came true, luckily for us Jim Zorn and the Redskins abandoned the run and tried to make Jason Campbell beat us himself. It almost worked.... (more)
The Eagles didn’t exactly demolish their rivals this afternoon, but they did perform impressively in the final quarter, and wound up capturing a come-from-behind victory to keep themselves in the hunt for both the NFC East division and the playoffs. The lowly Washington Redskins fought throughout the entire game to pull out what would have been a surprising... (more)
So I just learned that Albert Haynesworth is out today against us Eagles. That is good news. The Eagles must win this game or risk falling way behind the Cowboys in the NFC East race. Plus then you lose to the Redskins, and no one wants that. Donovan McNabb has been looking sharp recently, but without help from his young receivers he will have trouble from the Washington... (more)
Another NFL Sunday is about to get underway, and the first game on our live blog schedule today is the Washington Redskins traveling to Philly to take on the Eagles. Last time these two teams met, well, it was pretty much no contest. But the Redskins have gotten better, and should at least challenge the Eagles a little bit today.

Things started out great for the Denver Broncos. In the first six weeks of the season, they probably won more games than anyone thought they could this entire season. But now they’ve hit a tough stretch, losing their last three, including a loss to the abysmal Washington Redskins. So certainly not the best of times to have trouble at the quarterback... (more)
